Rob Glazier is Head Professional at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club and has been involved in golf for ten years. Rob has a wide range of experience in teaching all ages and abilities how to play golf. Rob has spent time in America teaching children golf as part of Camp America programme which is great American tradition whereby families send their children to stay away camps.
Rob took up golf at the age of 12 and soon realised his vocation of becoming a golf professional. His dream was realised at the age of 17 when working with his long term coach Jamie Waugh whereby he reached handicap of 2.
Rob has extensive knowledge of the golf swing by achieving a 2nd degrees honours, first class Sports Science degree at University Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC). His dissertation on Weight Distribution through the golf swing using a sand iron, seven iron and driver received first class honours and as given him a good basis to understand the scientific reasoning of how the golf swing works and the improvements that science can make in any one players golf swing.
Rob has the latest up to date, modern video technology which helps detects faults and explain the correction of faults to the pupil quickly and easily. The latest equipment involves a camera that has 300 frames per second capability which allows your golf swing to be viewed in crystal clarity during all phases of the golf swing. This camera linked with Cswing allows the client to compare their golf swing with some of the best players in the world.
